Ardnamurchan AD/07.21:05 Single Malt

The latest release from the excellent Ardnamurchan distillery. Once again with their winning combination of 50:50 peated and unpeated spirit, this whisky has been bottled from 65% bourbon and 35% sherry casks unchilfiltered and with natural colour.

Staff Tasting Notes

Nose : Fresh, zesty citrus fruits then rock salt and burnt marshmallows. The bonfire persists after a while but gives way to seaspray and caramel. 

Palate : Sweet and savoury, oily, salty peaches. Pastry and chewy toffee.

Finish : The coastal theme continues before a long gentle ashy bonfire finish intertwined with raisins and cinnamon.
