Soft with clean, fresh notes, faint hints of milk chocolate and lemon, then fragrant tea-scented smoke alongside maritime aromas and subtle cereal. It is softer and more rounded with water. Not hugely fruity but there is a trace of red berry preserve. The full on Lagavulin taste is sweet, smoky and warming. It is charred, with minty, dark chocolate. Again, water rounds the taste making it more succulent.
