Longrow Red - Fresh Port

The third in the "Red" series of annual limited releases of this heavily peated single malt from Springbank distillery, that have all been fully or part matured in red wine casks, giving them a red colour, and a unique character. This 11 year old expression was released in 2014, and has been aged a full eleven years in fresh port casks. Bottled at natural cask strength, and in quite small batches of around 9,000 bottles, these are very popular with whisky drinkers and collectors alike.
