Distilled to Master Distiller Dan McKee’s exacting specifications, no US*1 whiskey is ever released until Dan and the Michter’s tasting panel deems it ready.
Nose: Aromatic with a minty edge, savoury spiciness, hints of orange, cherries, blackcurrant.
Palate: Smooth mouthfeel, notes of caraway, fennel seed, brown sugar, cherry, hickory, cumin, and buttered corn.
Finish: Dry spiciness, lingering notes of peppercorn, cinnamon, new leather, caramel, and apple.
