Compass Box Crimson Casks (70cl, 46%ABV)

Compass Box Crimson Casks is a rich, sherried blended malt Scotch whisky that features intense notes of red fruit, chocolate fudge, and baking spices. This whisky was launched as part of the new core line up from Compass Box in late 2024, replacing previous expressions like 'The Spice Tree'.

Nose: Stewed dark fruits, plums, damsons, and chocolate brownie, accented by spices like cardamom and cinnamon, and hints of orange zest.

Palate: Thick and syrupy, delivering flavours of pomegranate, molasses, rum raisins, dates, and chocolate-covered nuts. 

Finish: Long and warming, featuring notes of blackcurrant jam, candied cherries, toasted oak, and lingering spices like cinnamon and clove.
