First matured in ex-bourbon casks, before being moved to Laphroaig's bespoke quarter casks for a time. The whisky is then finished in oloroso sherry casks. The result is a rich, oaky, peaty dram with a subtle sweetness on the nose and palate. Originally only available from travel retail outlets.
