From the stunning Loire Valley, this Touraine is everything we look for in a Sauvignon and more. With an intense nose of white flowers, grass, white currants and flint, the palate is dry and has a creamy edge from extended malolactic fermentation, which balances the powerful structure and natural acidity perfectly. In our opinion this is the true expression of Sauvignon rather than what is made in New Zealand and some other New World regions and would be enjoyed by those who like lighter whites and those who like fuller, oakier wines alike.
