Glencadam 1996 27 Year Old Reserva de Jerez has been specially created by their Master Distiller. From Glencadam's historic dunnage warehouses, he has carefully selected single malt distilled in 1996 and matured initially in exceptional ex-bourbon American oak casks. The single malt in these casks has been expertly married then finished in the finest Oloroso Sherry butts sourced from Jerez, Spain. These Oloroso Sherry butts impart unique flavours, which give depth and complexity to Glencadam Single Malt.
Nose: Praline, caramelised almonds and cocoa powder structured with cooked fruits, Manuka honey and sweet cinnamon.
Palate: Swiss chocolate and warm butterscotch mingled with sultanas, rolling tobacco, spiced apples and warming wood spices.
Finish: Dates and chocolate fudge cake fading into an espresso coffee and roasted nut linger.
